Lighting up Tjolöholm

LIGHTING UP TJOLÖHOLM - An immersive lighting experience that brought Tjolöholm Castle to life over two vibrant summer nights. Noga Projects created a site-specific lighting concept for a 2-day private corporate event, giving each night a unique atmosphere. A team of 10 lighting designers and artists contributed their works to the castle's beautiful grounds, located by the sea on the Swedish west coast.

The goal of the lighting was to create an exciting and curious atmosphere for guests to enjoy and explore the natural landscape and heritage site after nightfall. This presented a diverse challenge and made room for bold and fun ideas. The lighting concept added value by giving the event a warm and inviting feel while helping the client create a memorable experience for their 1500 employees.

The collaboration with the client and other suppliers was built on trust and creative freedom. The result was a multifaceted setup: a vibrant dance floor for 1000 people in a century-old barn, a laser-lit forest lake, classical architectural lighting, and large-scale light art that transformed nature into an otherworldly place.
