Seven Deadly Sins
(2016-2022)

SEVEN DEADLY SINS is a series of concert performances blending live classical music with performative elements - directed and conceptualised by the enigmatic Japanese pianist and performance artist Eriko Makimura.

Noga Projects has been the resident lighting designer and conceptual partner since the first performance GLUTTONY/FRÅDSERI in 2016, with a new sin being performed each November for seven consecutive years at KoncertKirken in Copenhagen. The lighting design exists in close relation to the music and steers the audience through a visually enticing landscape. Simplistic scenography and quirky video projections by illustrator Mathilde Thorup further add a tactile and vibrant layer to the performances.
